📖 In the Qur'an

Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?

The exact noun form is not used of Allah in the Qur'an; scholars derive the Name from His perfect self-sufficiency and need of nothing, echoed in how He 'found' (wajada) the Prophet ﷺ in need and provided for him (93:6-8).

💡 Reflection

Al-Wajid lacks nothing and needs nothing outside Himself — perfectly self-sufficient and free of any want.
