Ayat 1:
حمٓ1:হা-মীম।
1:Ha, Meem.
Ayat 2:
وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ2:শপথ সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের,
2:By the clear Book,
Ayat 3:
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَـٰهُ قُرْءَٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ3:আমি একে করেছি কোরআন, আরবী ভাষায়, যাতে তোমরা বুঝ।
3:Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.
Ayat 4:
وَإِنَّهُۥ فِىٓ أُمِّ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِىٌّ حَكِيمٌ4:নিশ্চয় এ কোরআন আমার কাছে সমুন্নত অটল রয়েছে লওহে মাহফুযে।
4:And indeed it is, in the Mother of the Book with Us, exalted and full of wisdom.
Ayat 5:
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ ٱلذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِينَ5:তোমরা সীমাতিক্রমকারী সম্প্রদায়-এ কারণে কি আমি তোমাদের কাছ থেকে কোরআন প্রত্যাহার করে নেব?
5:Then should We turn the message away, disregarding you, because you are a transgressing people?
Ayat 6:
وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن نَّبِىٍّ فِى ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ6:পূর্ববর্তী লোকদের কাছে আমি অনেক রসূলই প্রেরণ করেছি।
6:And how many a prophet We sent among the former peoples,
Ayat 7:
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِىٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ7:যখনই তাদের কাছে কোন রসূল আগমন করেছেন, তখনই তারা তাঁর সাথে ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রুপ করেছে।
7:But there would not come to them a prophet except that they used to ridicule him.
Ayat 8:
فَأَهْلَكْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ8:সুতরাং আমি তাদের চেয়ে অধিক শক্তি সম্পন্নদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। পূর্ববর্তীদের এ ঘটনা অতীত হয়ে গেছে।
8:And We destroyed greater than them in [striking] power, and the example of the former peoples has preceded.
Ayat 9:
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ9:আপনি যদি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করেন কে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছে? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে, এগুলো সৃষ্টি করেছেন পরাক্রমশালী সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহ।
9:And if you should ask them, "Who has created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "They were created by the Exalted in Might, the Knowing."
Ayat 10:
ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ10:যিনি তোমাদের জন্যে পৃথিবীকে করেছেন বিছানা এবং তাতে তোমাদের জন্যে করেছেন পথ, যাতে তোমরা গন্তব্যস্থলে পৌঁছতে পার।
10:[The one] who has made for you the earth a bed and made for you upon it roads that you might be guided
Page 2 · Ayat 11–20
Ayat 11:
وَٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَأَنشَرْنَا بِهِۦ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا كَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ11:এবং যিনি আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেছেন পরিমিত। আতঃপর তদ্দ্বারা আমি মৃত ভূ-ভাগকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করেছি। তোমরা এমনিভাবে উত্থিত হবে।
11:And who sends down rain from the sky in measured amounts, and We revive thereby a dead land - thus will you be brought forth -
Ayat 12:
وَٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ وَٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ12:এবং যিনি সবকিছুর যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং নৌকা ও চতুস্পদ জন্তুকে তোমাদের জন্যে যানবাহনে পরিণত করেছেন,
12:And who created the species, all of them, and has made for you of ships and animals those which you mount.
Ayat 13:
لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا۟ سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَـٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقْرِنِينَ13:যাতে তোমরা তাদের পিঠের উপর আরোহণ কর। অতঃপর তোমাদের পালনকর্তার নেয়ামত স্মরণ কর এবং বল পবিত্র তিনি, যিনি এদেরকে আমাদের বশীভূত করে দিয়েছেন এবং আমরা এদেরকে বশীভূত করতে সক্ষম ছিলাম না।
13:That you may settle yourselves upon their backs and then remember the favor of your Lord when you have settled upon them and say. "Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it.
Ayat 14:
وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ14:আমরা অবশ্যই আমাদের পালনকর্তার দিকে ফিরে যাব।
14:And indeed we, to our Lord, will [surely] return."
Ayat 15:
وَجَعَلُوا۟ لَهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ جُزْءًا إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَكَفُورٌ مُّبِينٌ15:তারা আল্লাহর বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে আল্লাহর অংশ স্থির করেছে। বাস্তবিক মানুষ স্পষ্ট অকৃতজ্ঞ।
15:But they have attributed to Him from His servants a portion. Indeed, man is clearly ungrateful.
Ayat 16:
أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَىٰكُم بِٱلْبَنِينَ16:তিনি কি তাঁর সৃষ্টি থেকে কন্যা সন্তান গ্রহণ করেছেন এবং তোমাদের জন্য মনোনীত করেছেন পুত্র সন্তান?
16:Or has He taken, out of what He has created, daughters and chosen you for [having] sons?
Ayat 17:
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ17:তারা রহমান আল্লাহর জন্যে যে, কন্যা-সন্তান বর্ণনা করে, যখন তাদের কাউকে তার সংবাদ দেয়া হয়, তখন তার মুখমন্ডল কালো হয়ে যায় এবং ভীষণ মনস্তাপ ভোগ করে।
17:And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
Ayat 18:
أَوَمَن يُنَشَّؤُ فِى ٱلْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ18:তারা কি এমন ব্যক্তিকে আল্লাহর জন্যে বর্ণনা করে, যে অলংকারে লালিত-পালিত হয় এবং বিতর্কে কথা বলতে অক্ষম।
18:So is one brought up in ornaments while being during conflict unevident [attributed to Allah]?
Ayat 19:
وَجَعَلُوا۟ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَـٰدُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ إِنَـٰثًا ۚ أَشَهِدُوا۟ خَلْقَهُمْ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَـٰدَتُهُمْ وَيُسْـَٔلُونَ19:তারা নারী স্থির করে ফেরেশতাগণকে, যারা আল্লাহর বান্দা। তারা কি তাদের সৃষ্টি প্রত্যক্ষ করেছে? এখন তাদের দাবী লিপিবদ্ধ করা হবে এবং তাদের জিজ্ঞাসা করা হবে।
19:And they have made the angels, who are servants of the Most Merciful, females. Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded, and they will be questioned.
Ayat 20:
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَـٰهُم ۗ مَّا لَهُم بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ20:তারা বলে, রহমান আল্লাহ ইচছা না করলে আমরা ওদের পূজা করতাম না। এ বিষয়ে তারা কিছুই জানে না। তারা কেবল অনুমানে কথা বলে।
20:And they said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have worshipped them." They have of that no knowledge. They are not but falsifying.
Page 3 · Ayat 21–30
Ayat 21:
أَمْ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ كِتَـٰبًا مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ21:আমি কি তাদেরকে কোরআনের পূর্বে কোন কিতাব দিয়েছি, অতঃপর তারা তাকে আঁকড়ে রেখেছে?
21:Or have We given them a book before the Qur'an to which they are adhering?
Ayat 22:
بَلْ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَ عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَـٰرِهِم مُّهْتَدُونَ22:বরং তারা বলে, আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি এক পথের পথিক এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে পথপ্রাপ্ত।
22:Rather, they say, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are in their footsteps [rightly] guided."
Ayat 23:
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِى قَرْيَةٍ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَ عَلَىٰٓ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَـٰرِهِم مُّقْتَدُونَ23:এমনিভাবে আপনার পূর্বে আমি যখন কোন জনপদে কোন সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করেছি, তখনই তাদের বিত্তশালীরা বলেছে, আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি এক পথের পথিক এবং আমরা তাদেরই পদাংক অনুসরণ করে চলছি।
23:And similarly, We did not send before you any warner into a city except that its affluent said, "Indeed, we found our fathers upon a religion, and we are, in their footsteps, following."
Ayat 24:
۞ قَـٰلَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُم بِأَهْدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدتُّمْ عَلَيْهِ ءَابَآءَكُ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِۦ كَـٰفِرُونَ24:সে বলত, তোমরা তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে যে বিষয়ের উপর পেয়েছ, আমি যদি তদপেক্ষা উত্তম বিষয় নিয়ে তোমাদের কাছে এসে থাকি, তবুও কি তোমরা তাই বলবে? তারা বলত তোমরা যে বিষয়সহ প্রেরিত হয়েছ, তা আমরা মানব না।
24:[Each warner] said, "Even if I brought you better guidance than that [religion] upon which you found your fathers?" They said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers."
Ayat 25:
فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ25:অতঃপর আমি তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিয়েছি। অতএব দেখুন, মিথ্যারোপকারীদের পরিণাম কিরূপ হয়েছে।
25:So we took retribution from them; then see how was the end of the deniers.
Ayat 26:
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِى بَرَآءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ26:যখন ইব্রাহীম তার পিতা ও সম্প্রদায়কে বলল, তোমরা যাদের পূজা কর, তাদের সাথে আমার কোন সম্পর্ক নেই।
26:And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, "Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship
Ayat 27:
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنِى فَإِنَّهُۥ سَيَهْدِينِ27:তবে আমার সম্পর্ক তাঁর সাথে যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। অতএব, তিনিই আমাকে সৎপথ প্রদর্শন করবেন।
27:Except for He who created me; and indeed, He will guide me."
Ayat 28:
وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةًۢ بَاقِيَةً فِى عَقِبِهِۦ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ28:এ কথাটিকে সে অক্ষয় বাণীরূপে তার সন্তানদের মধ্যে রেখে গেছে, যাতে তারা আল্লাহর দিকেই আকৃষ্ট থাকে।
28:And he made it a word remaining among his descendants that they might return [to it].
Ayat 29:
بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ وَرَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ29:পরন্ত আমিই এদেরকে ও এদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে জীবনোপভোগ করতে দিয়েছি, অবশেষে তাদের কাছে সত্য ও স্পষ্ট বর্ণনাকারী রসূল আগমন করেছে।
29:However, I gave enjoyment to these [people of Makkah] and their fathers until there came to them the truth and a clear Messenger.
Ayat 30:
وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَـٰفِرُونَ30:যখন সত্য তাদের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন তারা বলল, এটা যাদু, আমরা একে মানি না।
30:But when the truth came to them, they said, "This is magic, and indeed we are, concerning it, disbelievers."
Page 4 · Ayat 31–40
Ayat 31:
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَا عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنَ ٱلْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ31:তারা বলে, কোরআন কেন দুই জনপদের কোন প্রধান ব্যক্তির উপর অবতীর্ণ হল না?
31:And they said, "Why was this Qur'an not sent down upon a great man from [one of] the two cities?"
Ayat 32:
أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَتَ رَبِّكَ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَـٰتٍ لِّيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُم بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ32:তারা কি আপনার পালনকর্তার রহমত বন্টন করে? আমি তাদের মধ্যে তাদের জীবিকা বন্টন করেছি পার্থিব জীবনে এবং একের মর্যাদাকে অপরের উপর উন্নীত করেছি, যাতে একে অপরকে সেবক রূপে গ্রহণ করে। তারা যা সঞ্চয় করে, আপনার পালনকর্তার রহমত তদপেক্ষা উত্তম।
32:Do they distribute the mercy of your Lord? It is We who have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of this world and have raised some of them above others in degrees [of rank] that they may make use of one another for service. But the mercy of your Lord is better than whatever they accumulate.
Ayat 33:
وَلَوْلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً لَّجَعَلْنَا لِمَن يَكْفُرُ بِٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِّن فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ33:যদি সব মানুষের এক মতাবলম্বী হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকা না থাকত, তবে যারা দয়াময় আল্লাহকে অস্বীকার করে আমি তাদেরকে দিতাম তাদের গৃহের জন্যে রৌপ্য নির্মিত ছাদ ও সিঁড়ি, যার উপর তারা চড়ত।
33:And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful - for their houses - ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount
Ayat 34:
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَٰبًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِـُٔونَ34:এবং তাদের গৃহের জন্যে দরজা দিতাম এবং পালংক দিতাম যাতে তারা হেলান দিয়ে বসত।
34:And for their houses - doors and couches [of silver] upon which to recline
Ayat 35:
وَزُخْرُفًا وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ35:এবং স্বর্ণনির্মিতও দিতাম। এগুলো সবই তো পার্থিব জীবনের ভোগ সামগ্রী মাত্র। আর পরকাল আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে তাঁদের জন্যেই যারা ভয় করে।
35:And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.
Ayat 36:
وَمَن يَعْشُ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُۥ شَيْطَـٰنًا فَهُوَ لَهُۥ قَرِينٌ36:যে ব্যক্তি দয়াময় আল্লাহর স্মরণ থেকে চোখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, আমি তার জন্যে এক শয়তান নিয়োজিত করে দেই, অতঃপর সে-ই হয় তার সঙ্গী।
36:And whoever is blinded from remembrance of the Most Merciful - We appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.
Ayat 37:
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ37:শয়তানরাই মানুষকে সৎপথে বাধা দান করে, আর মানুষ মনে করে যে, তারা সৎপথে রয়েছে।
37:And indeed, the devils avert them from the way [of guidance] while they think that they are [rightly] guided
Ayat 38:
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ يَـٰلَيْتَ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرِينُ38:অবশেষে যখন সে আমার কাছে আসবে, তখন সে শয়তানকে বলবে, হায়, আমার ও তোমার মধ্যে যদি পূর্ব-পশ্চিমের দূরত্ব থাকত। কত হীন সঙ্গী সে।
38:Until, when he comes to Us [at Judgement], he says [to his companion], "Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west - how wretched a companion."
Ayat 39:
وَلَن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِذ ظَّلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ39:তোমরা যখন কুফর করছিলে, তখন তোমাদের আজকের আযাবে শরীক হওয়া কোন কাজে আসবে না।
39:And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, that you are [all] sharing in the punishment.
Ayat 40:
أَفَأَنتَ تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِى ٱلْعُمْىَ وَمَن كَانَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ40:আপনি কি বধিরকে শোনাতে পারবেন? অথবা যে অন্ধ ও যে স্পষ্ট পথ ভ্রষ্টতায় লিপ্ত, তাকে পথ প্রদর্শণ করতে পারবেন?
40:Then will you make the deaf hear, [O Muhammad], or guide the blind or he who is in clear error?
Page 5 · Ayat 41–50
Ayat 41:
فَإِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُم مُّنتَقِمُونَ41:অতঃপর আমি যদি আপনাকে নিয়ে যাই, তবু আমি তাদের কাছে থেকে প্রতিশোধ নেব।
41:And whether [or not] We take you away [in death], indeed, We will take retribution upon them.
Ayat 42:
أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ ٱلَّذِى وَعَدْنَـٰهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِم مُّقْتَدِرُونَ42:অথবা যদি আমি তাদেরকে যে আযাবের ওয়াদা দিয়েছি, তা আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেই, তবু তাদের উপর আমার পূর্ণ ক্ষমতা রয়েছে।
42:Or whether [or not] We show you that which We have promised them, indeed, We are Perfect in Ability.
Ayat 43:
فَٱسْتَمْسِكْ بِٱلَّذِىٓ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ43:অতএব, আপনার প্রতি যে ওহী নাযিল করা হয়, তা দৃঢ়ভাবে অবলম্বন করুন। নিঃসন্দেহে আপনি সরল পথে রয়েছেন।
43:So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.
Ayat 44:
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْـَٔلُونَ44:এটা আপনার ও আপনার সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে উল্লেখিত থাকবে এবং শীঘ্রই আপনারা জিজ্ঞাসিত হবেন।
44:And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned.
Ayat 45:
وَسْـَٔلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رُّسُلِنَآ أَجَعَلْنَا مِن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ءَالِهَ يُعْبَدُونَ45:আপনার পূর্বে আমি যেসব রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি, তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, দয়াময় আল্লাহ ব্যতীত আমি কি কোন উপাস্য স্থির করেছিলাম এবাদতের জন্যে?
45:And ask those We sent before you of Our messengers; have We made besides the Most Merciful deities to be worshipped?
Ayat 46:
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَإِي۟ فَقَالَ إِنِّى رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ46:আমি মূসাকে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী দিয়ে ফেরাউন ও তার পরিষদবর্গের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম, অতঃপর সে বলেছিল, আমি বিশ্ব পালনকর্তার রসূল।
46:And certainly did We send Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, and he said, "Indeed, I am the messenger of the Lord of the worlds."
Ayat 47:
فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَضْحَكُونَ47:অতঃপর সে যখন তাদের কাছে আমার নিদর্শনাবলী উপস্থাপন করল, তখন তারা হাস্যবিদ্রুপ করতে লাগল।
47:But when he brought them Our signs, at once they laughed at them.
Ayat 48:
وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنْ ءَايَ إِلَّا هِىَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا وَأَخَذْنَـٰهُم بِٱلْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ48:আমি তাদেরকে যে নিদর্শনই দেখাতাম, তাই হত পূর্ববর্তী নিদর্শন অপেক্ষা বৃহৎ এবং আমি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দ্বারা পাকড়াও করলাম, যাতে তারা ফিরে আসে।
48:And We showed them not a sign except that it was greater than its sister, and We seized them with affliction that perhaps they might return [to faith].
Ayat 49:
وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَ ٱلسَّاحِرُ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ49:তারা বলল, হে যাদুকর, তুমি আমাদের জন্যে তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সে বিষয় প্রার্থনা কর, যার ওয়াদা তিনি তোমাকে দিয়েছেন; আমরা অবশ্যই সৎপথ অবলম্বন করব।
49:And they said [to Moses], "O magician, invoke for us your Lord by what He has promised you. Indeed, we will be guided."
Ayat 50:
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ50:অতঃপর যখন আমি তাদের থেকে আযাব প্রত্যাহার করে নিলাম, তখনই তারা অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গ করতে লাগলো।
50:But when We removed from them the affliction, at once they broke their word.
Page 6 · Ayat 51–60
Ayat 51:
وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى قَوْمِهِۦ قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِى مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَـٰذِهِ ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِىٓ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ51:ফেরাউন তার সম্প্রদায়কে ডেকে বলল, হে আমার কওম, আমি কি মিসরের অধিপতি নই? এই নদী গুলো আমার নিম্নদেশে প্রবাহিত হয়, তোমরা কি দেখ না?
51:And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, "O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see?
Ayat 52:
أَمْ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ52:আমি যে শ্রেষ্ট এ ব্যক্তি থেকে, যে নীচ এবং কথা বলতেও সক্ষম নয়।
52:Or am I [not] better than this one who is insignificant and hardly makes himself clear?
Ayat 53:
فَلَوْلَآ أُلْقِىَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِّن ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَآءَ مَعَهُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ53:তাকে কেন স্বর্ণবলয় পরিধান করানো হল না, অথবা কেন আসল না তার সঙ্গে ফেরেশতাগণ দল বেঁধে?
53:Then why have there not been placed upon him bracelets of gold or come with him the angels in conjunction?"
Ayat 54:
فَٱسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُۥ فَأَطَاعُوهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ54:অতঃপর সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বোকা বানিয়ে দিল, ফলে তারা তার কথা মেনে নিল। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
54:So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were [themselves] a people defiantly disobedient [of Allah].
Ayat 55:
فَلَمَّآ ءَاسَفُونَ ٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ55:অতঃপর যখন আমাকে রাগাম্বিত করল তখন আমি তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিলাম এবং নিমজ্জত করলাম। তাদের সবাইকে।
55:And when they angered Us, We took retribution from them and drowned them all.
Ayat 56:
فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِّلْـَٔاخِرِينَ56:অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে করে দিলাম অতীত লোক ও দৃষ্টান্ত পরবর্তীদের জন্যে।
56:And We made them a precedent and an example for the later peoples.
Ayat 57:
۞ وَلَمَّ ضُرِبَ ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ57:যখনই মরিয়ম তনয়ের দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করা হল, তখনই আপনার সম্প্রদায় হঞ্জগোল শুরু করে দিল
57:And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud.
Ayat 58:
وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَأَـٰلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًۢا بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ58:এবং বলল, আমাদের উপাস্যরা শ্রেষ্ঠ, না সে? তারা আপনার সামনে যে উদাহরণ উপস্থাপন করে তা কেবল বিতর্কের জন্যেই করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা হল এক বিতর্ককারী সম্প্রদায়।
58:And they said, "Are your gods better, or is he?" They did not present the comparison except for [mere] argument. But, [in fact], they are a people prone to dispute.
Ayat 59:
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ مَثَلًا لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ59:সে তো এক বান্দাই বটে আমি তার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছি এবং তাকে করেছি বণী-ইসরাঈলের জন্যে আদর্শ।
59:Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.
Ayat 60:
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنكُم مَّلَـٰٓئِكَةً فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ60:আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের থেকে ফেরেশতা সৃষ্টি করতাম, যারা পৃথিবীতে একের পর এক বসবাস করত।
60:And if We willed, We could have made [instead] of you angels succeeding [one another] on the earth.
Page 7 · Ayat 61–70
Ayat 61:
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَعِلْمٌ لِّلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُ تَ بِهَا وَٱتَّبِعُونِ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ61:সুতরাং তা হল কেয়ামতের নিদর্শন। কাজেই তোমরা কেয়ামতে সন্দেহ করো না এবং আমার কথা মান। এটা এক সরল পথ।
61:And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path.
Ayat 62:
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ62:শয়তান যেন তোমাদেরকে নিবৃত্ত না করে। সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শুত্রু।
62:And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy.
Ayat 63:
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ عِيسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُم بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى تَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ63:ঈসা যখন স্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ আগমন করল, তখন বলল, আমি তোমাদের কাছে প্রজ্ঞা নিয়ে এসেছি এবং তোমরা যে, কোন কোন বিষয়ে মতভেদ করছ তা ব্যক্ত করার জন্যে এসেছি, অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার কথা মান।
63:And when Jesus brought clear proofs, he said, "I have come to you with wisdom and to make clear to you some of that over which you differ, so fear Allah and obey me.
Ayat 64:
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّى وَرَبُّكُمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُ هَـٰذَا صِرَٰطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ64:নিশ্চয় আল্লাহই আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। অতএব, তাঁর এবাদত কর। এটা হল সরল পথ।
64:Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path."
Ayat 65:
فَٱخْتَلَفَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَيْنِهِمْ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ65:অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে থেকে বিভিন্ন দল মতভেদ সৃষ্টি করল। সুতরাং যালেমদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক দিবসের আযাবের দুর্ভোগ।
65:But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
Ayat 66:
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ66:তারা কেবল কেয়ামতেরই অপেক্ষা করছে যে, আকস্মিকভাবে তাদের কাছে এসে যাবে এবং তারা খবর ও রাখবে না।
66:Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not?
Ayat 67:
ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ67:বন্ধুবর্গ সেদিন একে অপরের শত্রু হবে, তবে খোদাভীরুরা নয়।
67:Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous
Ayat 68:
يَـٰعِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ68:হে আমার বান্দাগণ, তোমাদের আজ কোন ভয় নেই এবং তোমরা দুঃখিতও হবে না।
68:[To whom Allah will say], "O My servants, no fear will there be concerning you this Day, nor will you grieve,
Ayat 69:
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُو بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ مُسْلِمِينَ69:তোমরা আমার আয়াতসমূহে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিলে এবং তোমরা আজ্ঞাবহ ছিলে।
69:[You] who believed in Our verses and were Muslims.
Ayat 70:
ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْجَنَّةَ أَنتُمْ وَأَزْوَٰجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ70:জান্নাতের প্রবেশ কর তোমরা এবং তোমাদের বিবিগণ সানন্দে।
70:Enter Paradise, you and your kinds, delighted."
Page 8 · Ayat 71–80
Ayat 71:
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِصِحَافٍ مِّن ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ ٱلْأَنفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ ٱلْأَعْيُنُ وَأَنتُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ71:তাদের কাছে পরিবেশন করা হবে স্বর্ণের থালা ও পানপাত্র এবং তথায় রয়েছে মনে যা চায় এবং নয়ন যাতে তৃপ্ত হয়। তোমরা তথায় চিরকাল অবস্থান করবে।
71:Circulated among them will be plates and vessels of gold. And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.
Ayat 72:
وَتِلْكَ ٱلْجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِىٓ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ72:এই যে, জান্নাতের উত্তরাধিকারী তোমরা হয়েছ, এটা তোমাদের কর্মের ফল।
72:And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.
Ayat 73:
لَكُمْ فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مِّنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ73:তথায় তোমাদের জন্যে আছে প্রচুর ফল-মূল, তা থেকে তোমরা আহার করবে।
73:For you therein is much fruit from which you will eat.
Ayat 74:
إِنَّ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ فِى عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدُونَ74:নিশ্চয় অপরাধীরা জাহান্নামের আযাবে চিরকাল থাকবে।
74:Indeed, the criminals will be in the punishment of Hell, abiding eternally.
Ayat 75:
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ75:তাদের থেকে আযাব লাঘব করা হবে না এবং তারা তাতেই থাকবে হতাশ হয়ে।
75:It will not be allowed to subside for them, and they, therein, are in despair.
Ayat 76:
وَمَا ظَلَمْنَـٰهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ76:আমি তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করিনি; কিন্তু তারাই ছিল জালেম।
76:And We did not wrong them, but it was they who were the wrongdoers.
Ayat 77:
وَنَادَوْا۟ يَـٰمَـٰلِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ قَالَ إِنَّكُم مَّـٰكِثُونَ77:তারা ডেকে বলবে, হে মালেক, পালনকর্তা আমাদের কিসসাই শেষ করে দিন। সে বলবে, নিশ্চয় তোমরা চিরকাল থাকবে।
77:And they will call, "O Malik, let your Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Indeed, you will remain."
Ayat 78:
لَقَدْ جِئْنَـٰكُم بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَـٰرِهُونَ78:আমি তোমাদের কাছে সত্যধর্ম পৌঁছিয়েছি; কিন্তু তোমাদের অধিকাংশই সত্যধর্মে নিস্পৃহ!
78:We had certainly brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth, were averse.
Ayat 79:
أَمْ أَبْرَمُوٓا۟ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ79:তারা কি কোন ব্যবস্থা চুড়ান্ত করেছে? তাহলে আমিও এক ব্যবস্থা চুড়ান্ত করেছি।
79:Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan].
Ayat 80:
أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَىٰهُم بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ80:তারা কি মনে করে যে, আমি তাদের গোপন বিষয় ও গোপন পরামর্শ শুনি না? হঁ্যা, শুনি। আমার ফেরেশতাগণ তাদের নিকটে থেকে লিপিবদ্ধ করে।
80:Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording.
Page 9 · Ayat 81–89
Ayat 81:
قُلْ إِن كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْعَـٰبِدِينَ81:বলুন, দয়াময় আল্লাহর কোন সন্তান থাকলে আমি সর্ব প্রথম তার এবাদত করব।
81:Say, [O Muhammad], "If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers."
Ayat 82:
سُبْحَـٰنَ رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ82:তারা যা বর্ণনা করে, তা থেকে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের পালনকর্তা, আরশের পালনকর্তা পবিত্র।
82:Exalted is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.
Ayat 83:
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا۟ وَيَلْعَبُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ يُلَـٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ83:অতএব, তাদেরকে বাকচাতুরী ও ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করতে দিন সেই দিবসের সাক্ষাত পর্যন্ত, যার ওয়াদা তাদেরকে দেয়া হয়।
83:So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised.
Ayat 84:
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَـٰهٌ وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَـٰهٌ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ84:তিনিই উপাস্য নভোমন্ডলে এবং তিনিই উপাস্য ভুমন্ডলে। তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞ,
84:And it is Allah who is [the only] deity in the heaven, and on the earth [the only] deity. And He is the Wise, the Knowing.
Ayat 85:
وَتَبَارَكَ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ85:বরকতময় তিনিই, নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু যার। তাঁরই কাছে আছে কেয়ামতের জ্ঞান এবং তাঁরই দিকে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
85:And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the Hour and to whom you will be returned.
Ayat 86:
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَن شَهِدَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ86:তিনি ব্যতীত তারা যাদের পুজা করে, তারা সুপারিশের অধিকারী হবে না, তবে যারা সত্য স্বীকার করত ও বিশ্বাস করত।
86:And those they invoke besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know.
Ayat 87:
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُ لَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ87:যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করেন, কে তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বলবে, আল্লাহ, অতঃপর তারা কোথায় ফিরে যাচ্ছে ?
87:And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded?
Ayat 88:
وَقِيلِهِۦ يَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوْمٌ لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ88:রসূলের এই উক্তির কসম, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, এ সম্প্রদায় তো বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না।
88:And [Allah acknowledges] his saying, "O my Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe."
Ayat 89:
فَٱصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَـٰمٌ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ89:অতএব, আপনি তাদের থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন এবং বলুন, ‘সালাম’। তারা শীঘ্রই জানতে পারবে।
89:So turn aside from them and say, "Peace." But they are going to know.
