Page 1 · Ayat 1–10

Ayat 1:

وَٱلذَّٰرِيَـٰتِ ذَرْوًا

1:কসম ঝঞ্ঝাবায়ুর।

1:By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing

Ayat 2:

فَٱلْحَـٰمِلَـٰتِ وِقْرًا

2:অতঃপর বোঝা বহনকারী মেঘের।

2:And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]

Ayat 3:

فَٱلْجَـٰرِيَـٰتِ يُسْرًا

3:অতঃপর মৃদু চলমান জলযানের,

3:And those [ships] sailing with ease

Ayat 4:

فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَـٰتِ أَمْرًا

4:অতঃপর কর্ম বন্টনকারী ফেরেশতাগণের,

4:And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter,

Ayat 5:

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ

5:তোমাদের প্রদত্ত ওয়াদা অবশ্যই সত্য।

5:Indeed, what you are promised is true.

Ayat 6:

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌ

6:ইনসাফ অবশ্যম্ভাবী।

6:And indeed, the recompense is to occur.

Ayat 7:

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ

7:পথবিশিষ্ট আকাশের কসম,

7:By the heaven containing pathways,

Ayat 8:

إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ

8:তোমরা তো বিরোধপূর্ণ কথা বলছ।

8:Indeed, you are in differing speech.

Ayat 9:

يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ

9:যে ভ্রষ্ট, সেই এ থেকে মুখ ফিরায়,

9:Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded.

Ayat 10:

قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ

10:অনুমানকারীরা ধ্বংস হোক,

10:Destroyed are the falsifiers

Page 2 · Ayat 11–20

Ayat 11:

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ

11:যারা উদাসীন, ভ্রান্ত।

11:Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.

Ayat 12:

يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ

12:তারা জিজ্ঞাসা করে, কেয়ামত কবে হবে?

12:They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"

Ayat 13:

يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ

13:যেদিন তারা অগ্নিতে পতিত হবে,

13:[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire

Ayat 14:

ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

14:তোমরা তোমাদের শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর। তোমরা একেই ত্বরান্বিত করতে চেয়েছিল।

14:[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."

Ayat 15:

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ

15:খোদাভীরুরা জান্নাতে ও প্রস্রবণে থাকবে।

15:Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs,

Ayat 16:

ءَاخِذِي مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُ رَبُّهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ

16:এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা গ্রহণ করবে যা তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে দেবেন। নিশ্চয় ইতিপূর্বে তারা ছিল সৎকর্মপরায়ণ,

16:Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.

Ayat 17:

كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ

17:তারা রাত্রির সামান্য অংশেই নিদ্রা যেত,

17:They used to sleep but little of the night,

Ayat 18:

وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

18:রাতের শেষ প্রহরে তারা ক্ষমাপ্রার্থনা করত,

18:And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,

Ayat 19:

وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ

19:এবং তাদের ধন-সম্পদে প্রার্থী ও বঞ্চিতের হক ছিল।

19:And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.

Ayat 20:

وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَـٰتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ

20:বিশ্বাসকারীদের জন্যে পৃথিবীতে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে,

20:And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]

Page 3 · Ayat 21–30

Ayat 21:

وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ

21:এবং তোমাদের নিজেদের মধ্যেও, তোমরা কি অনুধাবন করবে না?

21:And in yourselves. Then will you not see?

Ayat 22:

وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ

22:আকাশে রয়েছে তোমাদের রিযিক ও প্রতিশ্রুত সবকিছু।

22:And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.

Ayat 23:

فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ

23:নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের পালনকর্তার কসম, তোমাদের কথাবার্তার মতই এটা সত্য।

23:Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.

Ayat 24:

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ

24:আপনার কাছে ইব্রাহীমের সম্মানিত মেহমানদের বৃত্তান্ত এসেছে কি?

24:Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -

Ayat 25:

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ

25:যখন তারা তাঁর কাছে উপস্থিত হয়ে বললঃ সালাম, তখন সে বললঃ সালাম। এরা তো অপরিচিত লোক।

25:When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown.

Ayat 26:

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ

26:অতঃপর সে গ্রহে গেল এবং একটি ঘৃতেপক্ক মোটা গোবৎস নিয়ে হাযির হল।

26:Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf

Ayat 27:

فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ

27:সে গোবৎসটি তাদের সামনে রেখে বললঃ তোমরা আহার করছ না কেন?

27:And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"

Ayat 28:

فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَـٰمٍ عَلِيمٍ

28:অতঃপর তাদের সম্পর্কে সে মনে মনে ভীত হলঃ তারা বললঃ ভীত হবেন না। তারা তাঁকে একট জ্ঞানীগুণী পুত্র সন্তানের সুসংবাদ দিল।

28:And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.

Ayat 29:

فَأَقْبَلَ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ

29:অতঃপর তাঁর স্ত্রী চীৎকার করতে করতে সামনে এল এবং মুখ চাপড়িয়ে বললঃ আমি তো বৃদ্ধা, বন্ধ্যা।

29:And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"

Ayat 30:

قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

30:তারা বললঃ তোমার পালনকর্তা এরূপই বলেছেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।

30:They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing."

Page 4 · Ayat 31–40

Ayat 31:

۞ قَا فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

31:ইব্রাহীম বললঃ হে প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ, তোমাদের উদ্দেশ্য কি?

31:[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"

Ayat 32:

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ

32:তারা বললঃ আমরা এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতি প্রেরিত হয়েছি,

32:They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals

Ayat 33:

لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ

33:যাতে তাদের উপর মাটির ঢিলা নিক্ষেপ করি।

33:To send down upon them stones of clay,

Ayat 34:

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ

34:যা সীমাতিক্রমকারীদের জন্যে আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে চিহিߦ#2468; আছে।

34:Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors."

Ayat 35:

فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

35:অতঃপর সেখানে যারা ঈমানদার ছিল, আমি তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করলাম।

35:So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers.

Ayat 36:

فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ

36:এবং সেখানে একটি গৃহ ব্যতীত কোন মুসলমান আমি পাইনি।

36:And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.

Ayat 37:

وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ

37:যারা যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তিকে ভয় করে, আমি তাদের জন্যে সেখানে একটি নিদর্শন রেখেছি।

37:And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.

Ayat 38:

وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَـٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ

38:এবং নিদর্শন রয়েছে মূসার বৃত্তান্তে; যখন আমি তাকে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণসহ ফেরাউনের কাছে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম।

38:And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority.

Ayat 39:

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَـٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ

39:অতঃপর সে শক্তিবলে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিল এবং বললঃ সে হয় যাদুকর, না হয় পাগল।

39:But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman."

Ayat 40:

فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ

40:অতঃপর আমি তাকে ও তার সেনাবাহিনীকে পাকড়াও করলাম এবং তাদেরকে সমুদ্রে নিক্ষেপ করলাম। সে ছিল অভিযুক্ত।

40:So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy.

Page 5 · Ayat 41–50

Ayat 41:

وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ

41:এবং নিদর্শন রয়েছে তাদের কাহিনীতে; যখন আমি তাদের উপর প্রেরণ করেছিলাম অশুভ বায়ু।

41:And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind.

Ayat 42:

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ

42:এই বায়ু যার উপর দিয়ে প্রবাহিত হয়েছিলঃ তাকেই চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ করে দিয়েছিল।

42:It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins.

Ayat 43:

وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ

43:আরও নিদর্শন রয়েছে সামূদের ঘটনায়; যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়েছিল, কিছুকাল মজা লুটে নাও।

43:And in Thamud, when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time."

Ayat 44:

فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ

44:অতঃপর তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার আদেশ অমান্য করল এবং তাদের প্রতি বজ্রঘাত হল এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা তা দেখেছিল।

44:But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on.

Ayat 45:

فَمَا ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ

45:অতঃপর তারা দাঁড়াতে সক্ষম হল না এবং কোন প্রতিকারও করতে পারল না।

45:And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves.

Ayat 46:

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًا فَـٰسِقِينَ

46:আমি ইতিপূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করেছি। নিশ্চিতই তারা ছিল পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।

46:And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.

Ayat 47:

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْي۟ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ

47:আমি স্বীয় ক্ষমতাবলে আকাশ নির্মাণ করেছি এবং আমি অবশ্যই ব্যাপক ক্ষমতাশালী।

47:And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.

Ayat 48:

وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَـٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَـٰهِدُونَ

48:আমি ভূমিকে বিছিয়েছি। আমি কত সুন্দরভাবেই না বিছাতে সক্ষম।

48:And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer.

Ayat 49:

وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

49:আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তু জোড়ায় জোড়ায় সৃষ্টি করেছি, যাতে তোমরা হৃদয়ঙ্গম কর।

49:And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.

Ayat 50:

فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

50:অতএব, আল্লাহর দিকে ধাবিত হও। আমি তাঁর তরফ থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে সুস্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী।

50:So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.

Page 6 · Ayat 51–60

Ayat 51:

وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

51:তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে কোন উপাস্য সাব্যস্ত করো না। আমি তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের জন্য সুস্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী।

51:And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.

Ayat 52:

كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ

52:এমনিভাবে, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের কাছে যখনই কোন রসূল আগমন করেছে, তারা বলছেঃ যাদুকর, না হয় উম্মাদ।

52:Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."

Ayat 53:

أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ

53:তারা কি একে অপরকে এই উপদেশই দিয়ে গেছে? বস্তুতঃ ওরা দুষ্ট সম্প্রদায়।

53:Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.

Ayat 54:

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ

54:অতএব, আপনি ওদের থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন। এতে আপনি অপরাধী হবেন না।

54:So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed.

Ayat 55:

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

55:এবং বোঝাতে থাকুন; কেননা, বোঝানো মুমিনদের উপকারে আসবে।

55:And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.

Ayat 56:

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ

56:আমার এবাদত করার জন্যই আমি মানব ও জিন জাতি সৃষ্টি করেছি।

56:And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

Ayat 57:

مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ

57:আমি তাদের কাছে জীবিকা চাই না এবং এটাও চাই না যে, তারা আমাকে আহার্য যোগাবে।

57:I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.

Ayat 58:

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ

58:আল্লাহ তা’আলাই তো জীবিকাদাতা শক্তির আধার, পরাক্রান্ত।

58:Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength.

Ayat 59:

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَـٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

59:অতএব, এই যালেমদের প্রাপ্য তাই, যা ওদের অতীত সহচরদের প্রাপ্য ছিল। কাজেই ওরা যেন আমার কাছে তা তাড়াতাড়ি না চায়।

59:And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me.

Ayat 60:

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ

60:অতএব, কাফেরদের জন্যে দুর্ভোগ সেই দিনের, যেদিনের প্রতিশ্রুতি ওদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছে।

60:And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.
