Page 1 · Ayat 1–10
Ayat 1:
ٱقْتَرَبَتِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ وَٱنشَقَّ ٱلْقَمَرُ1:কেয়ামত আসন্ন, চন্দ্র বিদীর্ণ হয়েছে।
1:The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].
Ayat 2:
وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ ءَايَ يُعْرِضُوا۟ وَيَقُولُوا۟ سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ2:তারা যদি কোন নিদর্শন দেখে তবে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং বলে, এটা তো চিরাগত জাদু।
2:And if they see a miracle, they turn away and say, "Passing magic."
Ayat 3:
وَكَذَّبُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟ أَهْوَآءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ3:তারা মিথ্যারোপ করছে এবং নিজেদের খেয়াল-খুশীর অনুসরণ করছে। প্রত্যেক কাজ যথাসময়ে স্থিরীকৃত হয়।
3:And they denied and followed their inclinations. But for every matter is a [time of] settlement.
Ayat 4:
وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ4:তাদের কাছে এমন সংবাদ এসে গেছে, যাতে সাবধানবাণী রয়েছে।
4:And there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence -
Ayat 5:
حِكْمَةٌۢ بَـٰلِغَةٌ ۖ فَمَا تُغْنِ ٱلنُّذُرُ5:এটা পরিপূর্ণ জ্ঞান, তবে সতর্ককারীগণ তাদের কোন উপকারে আসে না।
5:Extensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them].
Ayat 6:
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ ٱلدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَىْءٍ نُّكُرٍ6:অতএব, আপনি তাদের থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন। যেদিন আহবানকারী আহবান করবে এক অপ্রিয় পরিণামের দিকে,
6:So leave them, [O Muhammad]. The Day the Caller calls to something forbidding,
Ayat 7:
خُشَّعًا أَبْصَـٰرُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنتَشِرٌ7:তারা তখন অবনমিত নেত্রে কবর থেকে বের হবে বিক্ষিপ্ত পংগপাল সদৃশ।
7:Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading,
Ayat 8:
مُّهْطِعِينَ إِلَى ٱلدَّاعِ يَقُولُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ8:তারা আহবানকারীর দিকে দৌড়াতে থাকবে। কাফেরা বলবেঃ এটা কঠিন দিন।
8:Racing ahead toward the Caller. The disbelievers will say, "This is a difficult Day."
Ayat 9:
۞ كَذَّبَ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا۟ عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا۟ مَجْنُونٌ وَٱزْدُجِرَ9:তাদের পূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায়ও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। তারা মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল আমার বান্দা নূহের প্রতি এবং বলেছিলঃ এ তো উম্মাদ। তাঁরা তাকে হুমকি প্রদর্শন করেছিল।
9:The people of Noah denied before them, and they denied Our servant and said, "A madman," and he was repelled.
Ayat 10:
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَغْلُوبٌ فَٱنتَصِرْ10:অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তাকে ডেকে বললঃ আমি অক্ষম, অতএব, তুমি প্রতিবিধান কর।
10:So he invoked his Lord, "Indeed, I am overpowered, so help."
Page 2 · Ayat 11–20
Ayat 11:
فَفَتَحْنَآ أَبْوَٰبَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَآءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍ11:তখন আমি খুলে দিলাম আকাশের দ্বার প্রবল বারিবর্ষণের মাধ্যমে।
11:Then We opened the gates of the heaven with rain pouring down
Ayat 12:
وَفَجَّرْنَا ٱلْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَٱلْتَقَى ٱلْمَآءُ عَلَىٰٓ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ12:এবং ভুমি থেকে প্রবাহিত করলাম প্রস্রবণ। অতঃপর সব পানি মিলিত হল এক পরিকম্পিত কাজে।
12:And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined.
Ayat 13:
وَحَمَلْنَـٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَٰحٍ وَدُسُرٍ13:আমি নূহকে আরোহণ করালাম এক কাষ্ঠ ও পেরেক নির্মিত জলযানে।
13:And We carried him on a [construction of] planks and nails,
Ayat 14:
تَجْرِى بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَآءً لِّمَن كَانَ كُفِرَ14:যা চলত আমার দৃষ্টি সামনে। এটা তার পক্ষ থেকে প্রতিশোধ ছিল, যাকে প্রত্যখ্যান করা হয়েছিল।
14:Sailing under Our observation as reward for he who had been denied.
Ayat 15:
وَلَقَد تَّرَكْنَـٰهَآ ءَايَ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ15:আমি একে এক নিদর্শনরূপে রেখে দিয়েছি। অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
15:And We left it as a sign, so is there any who will remember?
Ayat 16:
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ16:কেমন কঠোর ছিল আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী।
16:And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.
Ayat 17:
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَا لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ17:আমি কোরআনকে সহজ করে দিয়েছি বোঝার জন্যে। অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
17:And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
Ayat 18:
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ18:আদ সম্প্রদায় মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল, অতঃপর কেমন কঠোর হয়েছিল আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী।
18:'Aad denied; and how [severe] were My punishment and warning.
Ayat 19:
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِى يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّ19:আমি তাদের উপর প্রেরণ করেছিলাম ঝঞ্জাবায়ু এক চিরাচরিত অশুভ দিনে।
19:Indeed, We sent upon them a screaming wind on a day of continuous misfortune,
Ayat 20:
تَنزِعُ ٱلنَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنقَعِرٍ20:তা মানুষকে উৎখাত করছিল, যেন তারা উৎপাটিত খর্জুর বৃক্ষের কান্ড।
20:Extracting the people as if they were trunks of palm trees uprooted.
Page 3 · Ayat 21–30
Ayat 21:
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ21:অতঃপর কেমন কঠোর ছিল আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী।
21:And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.
Ayat 22:
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَا لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ22:আমি কোরআনকে বোঝার জন্যে সহজ করে দিয়েছি। অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
22:And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
Ayat 23:
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِٱلنُّذُرِ23:সামুদ সম্প্রদায় সতর্ককারীদের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল।
23:Thamud denied the warning
Ayat 24:
فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا وَٰحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذًا لَّفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ وَسُعُرٍ24:তারা বলেছিলঃ আমরা কি আমাদেরই একজনের অনুসরণ করব? তবে তো আমরা বিপথগামী ও বিকার গ্রস্থরূপে গণ্য হব।
24:And said, "Is it one human being among us that we should follow? Indeed, we would then be in error and madness.
Ayat 25:
أَءُلْقِىَ ٱلذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ25:আমাদের মধ্যে কি তারই প্রতি উপদেশ নাযিল করা হয়েছে? বরং সে একজন মিথ্যাবাদী, দাম্ভিক।
25:Has the message been sent down upon him from among us? Rather, he is an insolent liar."
Ayat 26:
سَيَعْلَمُونَ غَدًا مَّنِ ٱلْكَذَّابُ ٱلْأَشِرُ26:এখন আগামীকল্যই তারা জানতে পারবে কে মিথ্যাবাদী, দাম্ভিক।
26:They will know tomorrow who is the insolent liar.
Ayat 27:
إِنَّا مُرْسِلُو ٱلنَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَٱرْتَقِبْهُمْ وَٱصْطَبِرْ27:আমি তাদের পরীক্ষার জন্য এক উষ্ট্রী প্রেরণ করব, অতএব, তাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখ এবং সবর কর।
27:Indeed, We are sending the she-camel as trial for them, so watch them and be patient.
Ayat 28:
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ أَنَّ ٱلْمَآءَ قِسْمَةٌۢ بَيْنَهُمْ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ28:এবং তাদেরকে জানিয়ে দাও যে, তাদের মধ্যে পানির পালা নির্ধারিত হয়েছে এবং পালাক্রমে উপস্থিত হতে হবে।
28:And inform them that the water is shared between them, each [day of] drink attended [by turn].
Ayat 29:
فَنَادَوْا۟ صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ29:অতঃপর তারা তাদের সঙ্গীকে ডাকল। সে তাকে ধরল এবং বধ করল।
29:But they called their companion, and he dared and hamstrung [her].
Ayat 30:
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ30:অতঃপর কেমন কঠোর ছিল আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী।
30:And how [severe] were My punishment and warning.
Page 4 · Ayat 31–40
Ayat 31:
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَكَانُوا۟ كَهَشِيمِ ٱلْمُحْتَظِرِ31:আমি তাদের প্রতি একটিমাত্র নিনাদ প্রেরণ করেছিলাম। এতেই তারা হয়ে গেল শুষ্ক শাখাপল্লব নির্মিত দলিত খোয়াড়ের ন্যায়।
31:Indeed, We sent upon them one blast from the sky, and they became like the dry twig fragments of an [animal] pen.
Ayat 32:
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَا لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ32:আমি কোরআনকে বোঝার জন্যে সহজ করে দিয়েছি। অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
32:And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
Ayat 33:
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍۭ بِٱلنُّذُرِ33:লূত-সম্প্রদায় সতর্ককারীদের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল।
33:The people of Lot denied the warning.
Ayat 34:
إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّآ ءَا لُوطٍ نَّجَّيْنَـٰهُم بِسَحَرٍ34:আমি তাদের প্রতি প্রেরণ করেছিলাম প্রস্তর বর্ষণকারী প্রচন্ড ঘূর্ণিবায়ু; কিন্তু লূত পরিবারের উপর নয়। আমি তাদেরকে রাতের শেষপ্রহরে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম।
34:Indeed, We sent upon them a storm of stones, except the family of Lot - We saved them before dawn
Ayat 35:
نِّعْمَةً مِّنْ عِندِنَا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى مَن شَكَرَ35:আমার পক্ষ থেকে অনুগ্রহ স্বরূপ। যারা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করে, আমি তাদেরকে এভাবে পুরস্কৃত করে থকি।
35:As favor from us. Thus do We reward he who is grateful.
Ayat 36:
وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ36:লূত (আঃ) তাদেরকে আমার প্রচন্ড পাকড়াও সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করেছিল। অতঃপর তারা সতর্কবাণী সম্পর্কে বাকবিতন্ডা করেছিল।
36:And he had already warned them of Our assault, but they disputed the warning.
Ayat 37:
وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِۦ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ37:তারা লূতের (আঃ) কাছে তার মেহমানদেরকে দাবী করেছিল। তখন আমি তাদের চক্ষু লোপ করে দিলাম। অতএব, আস্বাদন কর আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী।
37:And they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."
Ayat 38:
وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُم بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ38:তাদেরকে প্রত্যুষে নির্ধারিত শাস্তি আঘাত হেনেছিল।
38:And there came upon them by morning an abiding punishment.
Ayat 39:
فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ39:অতএব, আমার শাস্তি ও সতর্কবাণী আস্বাদন কর।
39:So taste My punishment and warning.
Ayat 40:
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا ٱلْقُرْءَا لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ40:আমি কোরআনকে বোঝবার জন্যে সহজ করে দিয়েছি। অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
40:And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?
Page 5 · Ayat 41–50
Ayat 41:
وَلَقَدْ جَآءَ ءَا فِرْعَوْنَ ٱلنُّذُرُ41:ফেরাউন সম্প্রদায়ের কাছেও সতর্ককারীগণ আগমন করেছিল।
41:And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning.
Ayat 42:
كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذْنَـٰهُمْ أَخْذَ عَزِيزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ42:তারা আমার সকল নিদর্শনের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। অতঃপর আমি পরাভূতকারী, পরাক্রমশালীর ন্যায় তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করলাম।
42:They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability.
Ayat 43:
أَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكُمْ أَمْ لَكُم بَرَآءَةٌ فِى ٱلزُّبُرِ43:তোমাদের মধ্যকার কাফেররা কি তাদের চাইতে শ্রেষ্ঠ ? না তোমাদের মুক্তির সনদপত্র রয়েছে কিতাবসমূহে?
43:Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture?
Ayat 44:
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ نَحْنُ جَمِيعٌ مُّنتَصِرٌ44:না তারা বলে যে, আমারা এক অপরাজেয় দল?
44:Or do they say, "We are an assembly supporting [each other]"?
Ayat 45:
سَيُهْزَمُ ٱلْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّونَ ٱلدُّبُرَ45:এ দল তো সত্ত্বরই পরাজিত হবে এবং পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করবে।
45:[Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat].
Ayat 46:
بَلِ ٱلسَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ أَدْهَىٰ وَأَمَرُّ46:বরং কেয়ামত তাদের প্রতিশ্রুত সময় এবং কেয়ামত ঘোরতর বিপদ ও তিক্ততর।
46:But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter.
Ayat 47:
إِنَّ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ وَسُعُرٍ47:নিশ্চয় অপরাধীরা পথভ্রষ্ট ও বিকারগ্রস্ত।
47:Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness.
Ayat 48:
يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُونَ فِى ٱلنَّارِ عَلَىٰ وُجُوهِهِمْ ذُوقُوا۟ مَسَّ سَقَرَ48:যেদিন তাদেরকে মুখ হিঁচড়ে টেনে নেয়া হবে জাহান্নামে, বলা হবেঃ অগ্নির খাদ্য আস্বাদন কর।
48:The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar."
Ayat 49:
إِنَّا كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَـٰهُ بِقَدَرٍ49:আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তুকে পরিমিতরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছি।
49:Indeed, all things We created with predestination.
Ayat 50:
وَمَآ أَمْرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍۭ بِٱلْبَصَرِ50:আমার কাজ তো এক মুহূর্তে চোখের পলকের মত।
50:And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye.
Page 6 · Ayat 51–55
Ayat 51:
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَآ أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ51:আমি তোমাদের সমমনা লোকদেরকে ধ্বংস করেছি, অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি?
51:And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember?
Ayat 52:
وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِى ٱلزُّبُرِ52:তারা যা কিছু করেছে, সবই আমলনামায় লিপিবদ্ধ আছে।
52:And everything they did is in written records.
Ayat 53:
وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ53:ছোট ও বড় সবই লিপিবদ্ধ।
53:And every small and great [thing] is inscribed.
Ayat 54:
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَنَهَرٍ54:খোদাভীরুরা থাকবে জান্নাতে ও নির্ঝরিণীতে।
54:Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers,
Ayat 55:
فِى مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ55:যোগ্য আসনে, সর্বাধিপতি সম্রাটের সান্নিধ্যে।
55:In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability.
