وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْحَآقَّةُ3:আপনি কি কিছু জানেন, সেই সুনিশ্চিত বিষয় কি?
3:And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality?
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:4 — Word-by-Word Meaning
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ وَعَادٌۢ بِٱلْقَارِعَةِ4:আদ ও সামুদ গোত্র মহাপ্রলয়কে মিথ্যা বলেছিল।
4:Thamud and 'Aad denied the Striking Calamity.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:5 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ5:অতঃপর সমুদ গোত্রকে ধ্বংস করা হয়েছিল এক প্রলয়ংকর বিপর্যয় দ্বারা।
5:So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering [blast].
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:6 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ6:এবং আদ গোত্রকে ধ্বংস করা হয়েছিল এক প্রচন্ড ঝঞ্জাবায়ূ,
6:And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent wind
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:7 — Word-by-Word Meaning
سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَبْعَ لَيَالٍ وَثَمَـٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومًا فَتَرَى ٱلْقَوْمَ فِيهَا صَرْعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ خَاوِيَةٍ7:যা তিনি প্রবাহিত করেছিলেন তাদের উপর সাত রাত্রি ও আট দিবস পর্যন্ত অবিরাম। আপনি তাদেরকে দেখতেন যে, তারা অসার খর্জুর কান্ডের ন্যায় ভূপাতিত হয়ে রয়েছে।
7:Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:8 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَهَلْ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٍ8:আপনি তাদের কোন অস্তিত্ব দেখতে পান কি?
8:Then do you see of them any remains?
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:9 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَجَآءَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَن قَبْلَهُۥ وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَـٰتُ بِٱلْخَاطِئَةِ9:ফেরাউন, তাঁর পূর্ববর্তীরা এবং উল্টে যাওয়া বস্তিবাসীরা গুরুতর পাপ করেছিল।
9:And there came Pharaoh and those before him and the overturned cities with sin.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:10 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَعَصَوْا۟ رَسُولَ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَهُمْ أَخْذَةً رَّابِيَةً10:তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার রসূলকে অমান্য করেছিল। ফলে তিনি তাদেরকে কঠোরহস্তে পাকড়াও করলেন।
10:And they disobeyed the messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding [in severity].

Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:11 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَـٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْجَارِيَةِ11:যখন জলোচ্ছ্বাস হয়েছিল, তখন আমি তোমাদেরকে চলন্ত নৌযানে আরোহণ করিয়েছিলাম।
11:Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:12 — Word-by-Word Meaning
لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٌ وَٰعِيَةٌ12:যাতে এ ঘটনা তোমাদের জন্যে স্মৃতির বিষয় এবং কান এটাকে উপদেশ গ্রহণের উপযোগী রূপে গ্রহণ করে।
12:That We might make it for you a reminder and [that] a conscious ear would be conscious of it.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:13 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ نَفْخَةٌ وَٰحِدَةٌ13:যখন শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেয়া হবে-একটি মাত্র ফুৎকার
13:Then when the Horn is blown with one blast
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:14 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَحُمِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَٱلْجِبَالُ فَدُكَّتَا دَكَّةً وَٰحِدَةً14:এবং পৃথিবী ও পর্বতমালা উত্তোলিত হবে ও চুর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ করে দেয়া হবে,
14:And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow -
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:15 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ ٱلْوَاقِعَةُ15:সেদিন কেয়ামত সংঘটিত হবে।
15:Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur,
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:16 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَهِىَ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاهِيَةٌ16:সেদিন আকাশ বিদীর্ণ হবে ও বিক্ষিপ্ত হবে।
16:And the heaven will split [open], for that Day it is infirm.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:17 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَٱلْمَلَكُ عَلَىٰٓ أَرْجَآئِهَا وَيَحْمِلُ عَرْشَ رَبِّكَ فَوْقَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ ثَمَـٰنِيَةٌ17:এবং ফেরেশতাগণ আকাশের প্রান্তদেশে থাকবে ও আট জন ফেরেশতা আপনার পালনকর্তার আরশকে তাদের উর্ধ্বে বহন করবে।
17:And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:18 — Word-by-Word Meaning
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُعْرَضُونَ لَا تَخْفَىٰ مِنكُمْ خَافِيَةٌ18:সেদিন তোমাদেরকে উপস্থিত করা হবে। তোমাদের কোন কিছু গোপন থাকবে না।
18:That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:19 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ هَآؤُمُ ٱقْرَءُوا۟ كِتَـٰبِيَهْ19:অতঃপর যার আমলনামা ডান হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবেঃ নাও, তোমরাও আমলনামা পড়ে দেখ।
19:So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record!
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:20 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِنِّى ظَنَنتُ أَنِّى مُلَـٰقٍ حِسَابِيَهْ20:আমি জানতাম যে, আমাকে হিসাবের সম্মুখীন হতে হবে।
20:Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account."

Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:21 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ21:অতঃপর সে সুখী জীবন-যাপন করবে,
21:So he will be in a pleasant life -
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:22 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فِى جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ22:সুউচ্চ জান্নাতে।
22:In an elevated garden,
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:23 — Word-by-Word Meaning
قُطُوفُهَا دَانِيَةٌ23:তার ফলসমূহ অবনমিত থাকবে।
23:Its [fruit] to be picked hanging near.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:24 — Word-by-Word Meaning
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَآ أَسْلَفْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْخَالِيَةِ24:বিগত দিনে তোমরা যা প্রেরণ করেছিলে, তার প্রতিদানে তোমরা খাও এবং পান কর তৃপ্তি সহকারে।
24:[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past."
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:25 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِ يَـٰلَ لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَـٰبِيَهْ25:যার আমলনামা তার বাম হাতে দেয়া হবে, সে বলবেঃ হায় আমায় যদি আমার আমল নামা না দেয়া হতো।
25:But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, "Oh, I wish I had not been given my record
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:26 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَلَمْ أَدْرِ مَا حِسَابِيَهْ26:আমি যদি না জানতাম আমার হিসাব!
26:And had not known what is my account.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:27 — Word-by-Word Meaning
يَـٰلَيْتَهَا كَانَتِ ٱلْقَاضِيَةَ27:হায়, আমার মৃত্যুই যদি শেষ হত।
27:I wish my death had been the decisive one.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:28 — Word-by-Word Meaning
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنِّى مَالِيَهْ28:আমার ধন-সম্পদ আমার কোন উপকারে আসল না।
28:My wealth has not availed me.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:29 — Word-by-Word Meaning
هَلَكَ عَنِّى سُلْطَـٰنِيَهْ29:আমার ক্ষমতাও বরবাদ হয়ে গেল।
29:Gone from me is my authority."
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:30 — Word-by-Word Meaning
خُذُوهُ فَغُلُّوهُ30:ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলা হবেঃ ধর একে গলায় বেড়ি পড়িয়ে দাও,
30:[Allah will say], "Seize him and shackle him.

Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:31 — Word-by-Word Meaning
ثُمَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ31:অতঃপর নিক্ষেপ কর জাহান্নামে।
31:Then into Hellfire drive him.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:32 — Word-by-Word Meaning
ثُمَّ فِى سِلْسِلَةٍ ذَرْعُهَا سَبْعُونَ ذِرَاعًا فَٱسْلُكُوهُ32:অতঃপর তাকে শৃঙ্খলিত কর সত্তর গজ দীর্ঘ এক শিকলে।
32:Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him."
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:33 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ33:নিশ্চয় সে মহান আল্লাহতে বিশ্বাসী ছিল না।
33:Indeed, he did not used to believe in Allah, the Most Great,
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:34 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ34:এবং মিসকীনকে আহার্য দিতে উৎসাহিত করত না।
34:Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:35 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَلَيْسَ لَهُ ٱلْيَوْمَ هَـٰهُنَا حَمِيمٌ35:অতএব, আজকের দিন এখানে তার কোন সুহূদ নাই।
35:So there is not for him here this Day any devoted friend
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:36 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ36:এবং কোন খাদ্য নাই, ক্ষত-নিঃসৃত পুঁজ ব্যতীত।
36:Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds;
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:37 — Word-by-Word Meaning
لَّا يَأْكُلُهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلْخَـٰطِـُٔونَ37:গোনাহগার ব্যতীত কেউ এটা খাবে না।
37:None will eat it except the sinners.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:38 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ38:তোমরা যা দেখ, আমি তার শপথ করছি।
38:So I swear by what you see

وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ39:এবং যা তোমরা দেখ না, তার-

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ40:নিশ্চয়ই এই কোরআন একজন সম্মানিত রসূলের আনীত।
40:[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger.

Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:41 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ قَلِيلًا مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ41:এবং এটা কোন কবির কালাম নয়; তোমরা কমই বিশ্বাস কর।
41:And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:42 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ42:এবং এটা কোন অতীন্দ্রিয়বাদীর কথা নয়; তোমরা কমই অনুধাবন কর।
42:Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:43 — Word-by-Word Meaning
تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ43:এটা বিশ্বপালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে অবতীর্ণ।
43:[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:44 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ44:সে যদি আমার নামে কোন কথা রচনা করত,
44:And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings,
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:45 — Word-by-Word Meaning
لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِٱلْيَمِينِ45:তবে আমি তার দক্ষিণ হস্ত ধরে ফেলতাম,
45:We would have seized him by the right hand;

ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ ٱلْوَتِينَ46:অতঃপর কেটে দিতাম তার গ্রীবা।
46:Then We would have cut from him the aorta.

فَمَا مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَـٰجِزِينَ47:তোমাদের কেউ তাকে রক্ষা করতে পারতে না।
47:And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:48 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ48:এটা খোদাভীরুদের জন্যে অবশ্যই একটি উপদেশ।
48:And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:49 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنكُم مُّكَذِّبِينَ49:আমি জানি যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ মিথ্যারোপ করবে।
49:And indeed, We know that among you are deniers.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:50 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ50:নিশ্চয় এটা কাফেরদের জন্যে অনুতাপের কারণ।
50:And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers.
Page 6 · Ayat 51–52
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:51 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ51:নিশ্চয় এটা নিশ্চিত সত্য।
51:And indeed, it is the truth of certainty.
Surah Al-Haaqqa 69:52 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَسَبِّحْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَظِيمِ52:অতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ননা করুন।
52:So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
