Surah Al-Burooj 85:1 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ1:শপথ গ্রহ-নক্ষত্র শোভিত আকাশের,
1:By the sky containing great stars
Surah Al-Burooj 85:2 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ2:এবং প্রতিশ্রুত দিবসের,
2:And [by] the promised Day
Surah Al-Burooj 85:3 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ3:এবং সেই দিবসের, যে উপস্থিত হয় ও যাতে উপস্থিত হয়
3:And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,
Surah Al-Burooj 85:4 — Word-by-Word Meaning
قُتِلَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ4:অভিশপ্ত হয়েছে গর্ত ওয়ালারা অর্থাৎ,
4:Cursed were the companions of the trench
Surah Al-Burooj 85:5 — Word-by-Word Meaning
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ5:অনেক ইন্ধনের অগ্নিসংযোগকারীরা;
5:[Containing] the fire full of fuel,
Surah Al-Burooj 85:6 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ6:যখন তারা তার কিনারায় বসেছিল।
6:When they were sitting near it
Surah Al-Burooj 85:7 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ7:এবং তারা বিশ্বাসীদের সাথে যা করেছিল, তা নিরীক্ষণ করছিল।
7:And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.
Surah Al-Burooj 85:8 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ8:তারা তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিয়েছিল শুধু এ কারণে যে, তারা প্রশংসিত, পরাক্রান্ত আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছিল,
8:And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,
Surah Al-Burooj 85:9 — Word-by-Word Meaning
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيدٌ9:যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের ক্ষমতার মালিক, আল্লাহর সামনে রয়েছে সবকিছু।
9:To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.
Surah Al-Burooj 85:10 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ10:যারা মুমিন পুরুষ ও নারীকে নিপীড়ন করেছে, অতঃপর তওবা করেনি, তাদের জন্যে আছে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি, আর আছে দহন যন্ত্রণা,
10:Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.

Surah Al-Burooj 85:11 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُو وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ11:যারা ঈমান আনে ও সৎকর্ম করে তাদের জন্যে আছে জান্নাত, যার তলদেশে প্রবাহিত হয় নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ। এটাই মহাসাফল্য।
11:Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.
Surah Al-Burooj 85:12 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ12:নিশ্চয় তোমার পালনকর্তার পাকড়াও অত্যন্ত কঠিন।
12:Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.
Surah Al-Burooj 85:13 — Word-by-Word Meaning
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ13:তিনিই প্রথমবার অস্তিত্ব দান করেন এবং পুনরায় জীবিত করেন।
13:Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.
Surah Al-Burooj 85:14 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ14:তিনি ক্ষমাশীল, প্রেমময়;
14:And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,
Surah Al-Burooj 85:15 — Word-by-Word Meaning
ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ15:মহান আরশের অধিকারী।
15:Honorable Owner of the Throne,
Surah Al-Burooj 85:16 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ16:তিনি যা চান, তাই করেন।
16:Effecter of what He intends.
Surah Al-Burooj 85:17 — Word-by-Word Meaning
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ17:আপনার কাছে সৈন্যবাহিনীর ইতিবৃত্ত পৌছেছে কি?
17:Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -
Surah Al-Burooj 85:18 — Word-by-Word Meaning
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ18:ফেরাউনের এবং সামুদের?
18:[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?
Surah Al-Burooj 85:19 — Word-by-Word Meaning
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍ19:বরং যারা কাফের, তারা মিথ্যারোপে রত আছে।
19:But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,
Surah Al-Burooj 85:20 — Word-by-Word Meaning
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ20:আল্লাহ তাদেরকে চতুর্দিক থেকে পরিবেষ্টন করে রেখেছেন।
20:While Allah encompasses them from behind.

بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَا مَّجِيدٌ21:বরং এটা মহান কোরআন,
21:But this is an honored Qur'an

فِى لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍ22:লওহে মাহফুযে লিপিবদ্ধ।
22:[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
